Precision Cable Grinding

Cable Grinding is an OD process used to meet precision tolerances on cable.  At Meyer Engineered Materials we specialize in grinding aerospace cable used in landing gear and other critical functions on a plane.  We also often service the oil and gas industry for weathered cable that is being re-coated and needs to be brought back to a specific dimension.

Material: Coated and uncoated materials 

Size: 0.125” to 0.250” diameter (up to 35’ sections) 

Tolerance: +/- 0.0005”
